Future’s First Week Sales for Pluto

Atlanta’s own Future released his debut album Pluto last week.

According to the latest edition of SoundScan, Future sold over 41,000 copies of Pluto the first week.

While these first week sales numbers may not be what we can expect from Drake, T.I., and Snoop Dogg, all who appear on Future’s Pluto, they are good when we consider the other urban music releases in 2012.

As TRC points out:

This is a good start for Future who seems to have done way better than other urban releases that came out this year. As compared to Yo Gotti’s debut Live form the Kitchen which did 16,000 its first week, Maino’s The Day After Tomorrow did 6,300 its first week, and Diggy Simmons’ Unexpected Arrival which did 22,000 in sales its first week.
